Reiki Level I
Date: July 11th and August 8th 2010, 10am to 4pm
Cost: $150 ($250 for private, individual workshop)

Learn this stress-reducing, self-healing technique to use on both yourself and others. This class covers the background and history of Reiki, as well as the hands-on healing positions for self-treatment and treatment of others (clients, friends, family, animals). You will receive Reiki “attunements” to establish yourself as a channel for healing. For practitioners it is a great addition to your toolkit! It is also a great tool for people as a way to combat stress and pain in daily life.
No prerequisite is required.
Reiki Level II
Date: August 15th 2010, 9.30am to 5pm
Cost: $200 ($300 for private, individual workshop)

Reiki 2 takes you to the next level. What that means is it helps shift you, and your clients if you are a practitioner, through stuckness that isn’t shifting. With the foundation of Level 1 the Reiki student is able to increase the flow of energy. In Reiki 2 you learn how to address mental and emotional issues requiring healing and how to send the Reiki energy to someone at a distance. You will learn the ancient Reiki symbols and experience how they work to help balance the energy system, and to balance situations in your life. Reiki 2 enhances the energy flow for practitioners and those using Reiki to work with family and friends.
Prerequisite – Reiki 1.
Reiki Level III
Date: August 29th, 2010, 10 – 5pm
Cost: $250 ($350 for private, individual workshop)

In Reiki III you will begin to work with the Master Symbol which enhances your connection with your true self. We will create space to explore beliefs, ethics and emotions, personally and as a practitioner. Shamanic and Buddhist practices and meditations will be introduced in this class. Taking Reiki III is a necessary stage on your path as a Reiki Master, deepening your connection and commitment to living life with Reiki.
Prerequisite – Reiki 1 and Reiki 2
Reiki and the Meridians
Date: September 25th and 26th 2010, 10 – 5pm
Cost: $275 ($550 for private, individual workshop)
Location: Alinga Bodywork, Phinney Ridge
This course will explore the meridian system and five element theory, investigating the characteristics of the five elements, and how they impact on our energy system and personalities. We will bring Reiki energy to the meridian system and the five elements within the bodymind, with the focus still being that Reiki works for the individuals highest good. This course does not teach the practitioner to treat the meridian system in the way that an acupuncturist or shiatsu practitioner does, but in bringing a focus to the meridians, it will open up new possibilities for the Reiki practitioner.
Prerequisite: Reiki 1
Reiki Practice Circles
Date: July 12th and August 9th 2010, 7pm to 9pm (Circles held monthly on the second Monday)
Cost: $10 (suggested donation)

Introduction to Shiatsu
Location: Get In Touch Clinic, Renton
Date: TBA 2 – 5pm
In this three hour workshop learn basic information on traditional chinese medicine (TCM) and five element theory, the foundations of practicing shiatsu. You will also learn simple shiatsu techniques, and a routine for use on the back to incorporate into your current massage therapy practice.
